A very hyped topic right after the ringing in of 2012, Infused.Tt announced a new website and new intentions for the current year in eSports. However, just earlier today, it was quite brazenly told to the Call of Duty 4 team that they no longer figure into those plans and had to leave.
In a rather unexpected move, seeing as Infused.Tt had already invested money into the team by paying the Epic8 entrance fees for this year, the Call of Duty 4 team was asked to leave the organisation via a Skype message. This message quite plainly told the team that there were no plans of Infused.Tt to support the game any more and they could no longer don the tags.
The team then quickly resorted to renaming themselves to volatile and will be on the hunt for a new organisation. Whether or not one will be realistically found, especially given their international player, is another matter entirely. Even though they have been playing really well as of late, it will be difficult to convince an organisation to invest in the team.
However unfortunate and brazen the move, the line-up will remain unchanged for now and they will - all six of them - be scouting around for a new place to call home and a new tag to claim theirs. In its entirety it's an unfortunate move, to see a longstanding organisation like Infused.Tt step out of the game, a perhaps bad start to the year.

Leonidas "killzx" Krykas was kind enough to share some of his thoughts on the matter, within hours of receiving the message:
"Hello everyone. We have recently been removed from the Team Infused roster due to the fact that they do not believe that there is room in the budget for such a greedy team. It has been suggested that we were removed because we were unable to provide anything but content that highlighted our inability to play CoD4 to a greater than chimp standard. This is not the case, and those that suggest it will be hearing from our lawyers within the next few days as we consider these suggestions to be defamation, and will prosecute as such. The real reason is that Sanjay 'caesium' Ghambir has been using the company credit card for the past few months, and has been doing some frivolous spending. Just last week he charged Infused for five sets of Steelseries Gaming Glasses and a lava lamp. The lava lamp was very expensive, and Infused quickly realised that they were unable to foot the bill any longer. We have been removed from the organisation and as such are on the lookout for a new one to support us. We are able to provide weekly fail videos as well as popular e-sport related facebook pages. On top of that we are probably a top three team worldwide, we recently beat TCM on mp_Crossfire and Backlot. We hope to hear from numerous orgs during the next four or five minutes. Thank you for reading, and we hope to see some if not all of you at any and all upcoming Call of Duty LAN events. Good day.
Who would have thought that we could get the Call of Duty 4 ProMod community to adopt a new home so quickly.
It would be a downright lie to say that the numbers aren`t impressive. With over 2900 matches played in the somewhat short life of CyberGamer Europe, it really seems that the Call of Duty 4 ProMod community have accepted this site to become their new home after being scattered across several different portals.
As you could have noticed, the CyberGamer Amateur ladder has been closed for the past few days as the admin crew has been going through all the open matches and solve the disputes. As stated Vita Nova`s most recent statement, the top 14 teams of CGa will be invited to compete in the CG Main League, as well receiving credentials to the #cod.invite IRC channel.
As with any tournament, there has been one upset - as RAGE Gaming, who were ranked 11th at the end of the ladder won`t be raging too much (no pun intended) as they, lost a dispute vs cHaos Gaming, which put the latter into 11th, RAGE into 15th place, together with "a new project" luckily landing 14th on point difference. Likewise, Druidz ended too close for BallerS comfort as the latter won by mere 183 points, which is not a lot given that during the last days one could get upwards of 1000 points.
Through some heated discussion topics it had also become clear that the community was not satisfied with the ranking system, and that is why we have changed it to a better, more familiar ELO rating system. Having said that, the CGa ladder is being reset - allowing for some new potential to shine through and be added to the CGm league - and is LIVE from the minute this news post is on the front page and will remain open until towards the end of Season 2.
The teams qualified for CGm have been moved to the waiting pool for the Season 2 of CGi and CGm, but we are still to announce any news on our second edition of the biggest CoD4 league on the planet.
Antwerp Aces, the best Benelux team currently inhabiting the Call of Duty 4 scene, has today announced a change to their roster, seeing long time standing team member Richard "Haxion" Robberse leaving the team.
With the promising side racking up reasonable results in the majority of the online competitions to date the last thing the scene expected to see was for changes to be implemented during this festive period, but that is exactly what the team has decided to do seeing Richard "Haxion" Robberse being exchanged after disputes fell out over his AK role within the team. Less than twenty four hours after his departure a new team member stepped up, seeing none other than Robert "mean" Kouters settle into place.
The addition of a new member after such a short period does appear to be, at least on the surface, a rushed decision. But if you dig a little deeper that isn`t quite the case. Rober "mean" Kouters hasn`t just walked in off the street and into the loving embrace of the AA family, he in fact has several ties with several of the team members, with one being particularly potent. He is in-fact an ex-teammate of Jelle "pr0phecy" Monen, serving alongside him within the ranks of TLR all the way back in 2009, and have since then have kept in touch regularly competing together.
The team has in the past achieved some promising results, including but limited to a first place finish at the E-Series LAN event, a 5th-8th finish at the E-Series Maximus LAN event last December and fourth place finish in the Cybergamer Invite League after narrowing losing out on third after a disappointing draw against Fragmasters. The newly reformed team now plan on attending Frag-O-Matic in February, quickly followed by DockYard in April, although both attendances are still to be confirmed.
Robert ``mean`` Kouters Robby ``pazazu`` Kraai Jelle "pr0phecy" Monen Senne ``sEnzaj<3" Michoel Abdelhafid “Vato” Bouddount
Abdelhafid “Vato” Bouddount gave TEK9 the following statement:
"Recently we have decided to replace Richard with Robert. While this has been a very hard decision for the team it is a decision we feel we had to make to keep the team motivated to keep growing. Don`t get me wrong, with Richard we had a great time and I must say he is one of the best AK`s in the Benelux scene. The problem we had was that we had 2 aggressive AK`s in the team. Both Jelle (Prophecy) and Richard are AK`s that want to push hard and get those picks and when Richard had to do the keen jobs (plant bombs, camp bombsites, hold the back, etc.) he was not very happy in the team. Even though he did is job very good, if someone isn`t happy in the team, it shows.
After long discussions with Richard with decided it would be better to end his story with Aces and to look for another AK which was an easy decision. Robert (mean) has been playing before with half the line-up and is more of the keen AK so we think (hope) that this will do us good in the long run. I want to end this statement by wishing Richard the best of luck and I`m sure that he will find another great team in no time! Welcome Robert!"
In what many would call an unexpected turn of events, the former Call of Duty titans Reason Gaming have stepped back into the scene. The organization was last seen with their 2010 team who disbanded after their successful 2nd place finish at CIC7.
Reason Gaming is an organization that is well known to a large percentage of the community, if not all of it`s inhabitants, so who would have guessed that this previously all-star organization would pick up a lower end UK team for their return to the scene? Well despite previous pre-conceptions that`s exactly what they`ve done, taking in the previously known British side of Saevis who recently took at 7th/8th position at last Novembers Insomnia44 with just three of their core members. What motivated them to make their decision? It may have something to do with Kyle "smiffy" Smith`s connections within the organization, but Javier "FDZ" Fernandez, a member of staff for the Reason organization had the following to say:
"Long gone are the golden years for Call Of Duty 4, with a plethora of LAN events to choose from, as well as an outstanding list of teams to choose from. But, as a Phoenix, the CoD 4 scene is slowly but surely rising back again, and we at Reason-Gaming have decided to give back to a community that has given us so many happy moments."
Then went on to state:
"Rather than picking up a Top European team as we have done in the past, we have decided to pick up a UK academy team in order to show our support to the community that we know and love."
All was not well within the team though. Just days after the team’s acceptance into the prestigious Reason Gaming organization Joss "CAS" Payne was given an ultimatum, to either fall into the back-up position or to find himself removed from the side. The motives behind this decision seem sketchy, especially considering the fact that he had been an crucial part of the roster for over four months, but from what both sides have told me it would appear that the two parties were no longer compatible. What the future holds for this talented individual nobody can determine, but he has left the team with his head held high, still wishing his former comrades "good luck in the future".
We can expect to see Reason Gaming making their debut at Epic.EIGHT this up-coming February followed swiftly by Insomnia45 soon after. What does the future hold for this team within the embrace of Reason, I doubt anyone really has a solid answer, but one thing is for sure they`ve got a much brighter future within their new found home.
Aaron "bAKEZJi" Baker Kyle "smiffy" Smith Craig "SNWZY3" Snowden Thomas "cronik" Palombella Dan "rapid" Shakeshaft
Craig "SNWZ3Y" Snowdon gave TEK9 the following statement:
"The team has been together over the summer months and after a somewhat successful i43 with only 3 of our core lineup in attendance, all of our players where focused on the road ahead we began working on taking our team to the next level. A team that hasn`t really made a name for itself is honoured to represent such an established organisation such as Reason, especially with the high expectations like our own. Personally I would just like to thank both Reason, Razer, Verygames and Gamers Uniform for giving us this golden opportunity."
