With the future of Call of Duty 4 looking bright, today we see the return of some of the biggest names from the Netherlands, who are set to make their appearance at the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 under the Mesmerize Cybersports Association tag.
Joining the relatively new MCA organisation, who recently signed a Dutch Counterstrike: Source team, are former members of the successful Button Bashers team, including Kevin "svotoe" de Groot, Niels "zemme" van Steenbergen, Pieter "pietje" Bijl, Youri "kasparov" Mohrs, Alex "mofje" Kuiper and Dominique "yallie" Schurink.
The former Button Bashers (KomaCrew) team, who finished runner-up at the Antwerp Esports Festival back in 2008 and first place finishers at Gameland 2008 ((€6000), have decided to give it another try and will be looking to challenge the European elite at the upcoming CIC7 in Enschede, the Netherlands at the beginning of March.

Statement Kevin "svotoe" de Groot: "After a break we are back to fight again! When I saw there was a crossfire event coming up I talked to my old buddies. We had such a great time with each other and competing in call of duty 4 that we agreed to give it another try. I immediately came in touch with a friend of mine, Arno Gerritsen. We felt it would be a good move for both parties to join up and we are very glad Arno gave us this chance."
Statement Arno Gerritsen, founder of The MCA: "With this new team we have enough potential to challenge the European class Call of Duty 4 teams. With several great achievements in 2007, 2008 and 2009 we believe that we found a perfect match."
